*VENT* my grandmother just had the nerve to lecture and yell at me for not getting checked for dilation!! well jay thats not fair to the the baby and i wanna know whats going on and what your body is doing. you need to be getting checked every week for me. im sorry to be mean but i dont give a flying fuck what you wanna know!! this is my body and my baby and if i dont want to get checked i dont have to!! and on top of all that she talking about how im going to have to keep the baby and the animals seperated from each other so they dont hurt the baby and if they try to come near the baby their just going to have to find somewhere else to stay for awhile or im just going to have to get rid if them all together. WTF!!?? Have you lost your fucking mind!!?? my animals arent going anywhere!! i feel like she is trying to dictate how me and my SO are going to raise our child already after i have told her plenty of times if i dont wont to take her advice i dont have to. this isnt her fucking child. its mine. *VENT OVER* sorry ladies. that was kinda a long one.

@miseisbebes2016, honestly i think its cause im the first. im the first child,the first gran,the first one of my siblings whos having a baby. and she wasnt there for my mom or my aunt so i feel like shes trying to fix her mistakes through me but im not my mom or my aunt.

@arivera64, exactly if i needed to be checked my ob would have done it. she wouldnt have let me choosen if i wanted to or not. its no big deal. as far as im concerned i dont wanna be checked anymore unless im going into labor

Smh. Good for you letting your body go with the flow. I'm declining checks until 38 to 39 weeks. I only want to know at that point so that when labor does start i can sort of guage how long i should wait to go to the hospital.
