I'm 36 weeks tomorrow and the past few days I've not felt as much movement as usual but I've been having a lot of Braxton hicks, back pain and period like cramps. Any advice? Xx

@winterbaby95, I never said the pattern would change, Just the type of movement. I feel more stronger kicks now at 35 weeks whereas before it felt more like somersaults

Completely agree with @winterbaby95 I was told the same thing just the other day. Movements shouldn't reduce as baby gets bigger x

@natroberts88 I was always told movements shouldn't change no matter how big the baby gets :) My girls didn't :) xx Her pattern was the same throughout :) Towards the end she was bigger...so of course the movements felt stronger...but the pattern of movements never changed xxx

@bethwell - Because there is less room for your baby to move around you may experience a change in his movements. At this stage you are more likely to feel jabs from your baby's elbows and feet and complete body rolls as he changes position. My LO movements have changed, it's about knowing your own babies movements. But I agree with @winterbaby95, if you are concerned then please go get checked :) xx

I initially put it down to him being too big to kick as I'm getting different feelings. I normally get most quite late at night so I'm going to monitor tonight and call in the morning. Thanks x

You could be in the early stages of labour or bubs may be engaging. But bubs movements should never change even during labour xx

You need to call your midwife ASAP or the hospital. Reduced movement needs to be monitored xx
