I told my midwife I was excessively itching and she just brushed it off saying it's just my skin being dry!! I've got her again on Thursday and I'm going to mention it again because it keeps me awake at night because of it :/ xxx

You do have to worry about it Hun. If especially if it's starts in the evening and particularly if it's hands and feet. When I called my GP concerned about my itching he had me come to the surgery that day to go do blood tests at the local hospital. It's called obstetric cholestasis. I do not mean to scare you but one lady told her story to the paper because she or her midwife wasn't aware of how serious it can be and she lost her baby quite late in pregnancy due to having obstetric cholestasis x

i think it's always worth calling the midwife just to be sure xx

I get allergies and so my legs will itch and come out in hives and I have to run them under cold water and it goes within ten mins of the water but I've had that donkeys years. I know there is something with itching and liver but I thought that was more itchy tummy
