Has anyone got any tips for putting weight on healthily?
I'm a vegetarian (have been for 14 years) with 2 young children and being quite active I've recently been losing weight that I do not need to lose. I have had my thyroid checked and all is ok. I would like to put a stone on, but finding it quite difficult to get the calories in without turning to cakes/sweet ect.

I'm vegan and I just eat a lot of fruits and carbohydrates, I'm healthy and of ideal weight. If you have trouble eating bigger portions try having more dried fruits, nuts and add seeds to dishes, it'll make a difference!

Hello Tanya, due to having sickness for 2 months I lost 8lbs or more without moving an inch. I started having protein shakes to get in the calories and eating eggs, nuts, and pretty much doubling my sizes of portions. It never hurts to have ice cream, pasta and cauliflower cheese to get that all important protein and magnesium if your trying to conceive. Before I fell pregnant I was very active I was always swimming and doing cardio so I was told to drink protein shakes to gain energy and replacing lost calories to bulk up. My intentions were never to lose weight but I was naturally doing so and not eating enough (as I don't usually have a huge appetite) and my fitness instructor at David Lloyd said protein shakes were always a a good start 👍🏻. X
