Anyone ever have sudden upper abdominal pain on their right side only? I just woke up to pee, and my right side and lower back hurt. The baby is moving a little and I feel him lower than where the pain is. Any ideas? I can't call my OB for a few hours and it will probably end up going away, I'm just curious if you guys know what it might be, or if its just round ligament pain or braxton hicks. thanks!

I had pain on my right side too. severe and persistent. it hurt to move to breathe and hurt worse when baby moved too. I went to l&d and they ran some tests and ruled out appendicitis and sent me home saying that pregnancy isn't supposed to be comfortable. they said its probably round ligament pain or that I moved wrong in my sleep and pulled something. :/

I had preeclampsia and eclampsia so that's just based on my experience

no I don't think they'd diagnose it with just that symptom. you'd need blood work. or high bp and protein in urine.

it's a mild symptom of preeclampsia and cholestasis. also your liver and gallbladder are right there.
