My toddler had a REALLY bad nappie rash im thinking it may be from the antibiotic hes on, anyone any advice on how to clear it? Just been changing him every hour or so & plastering sudocrem on him as thats all i have in the house. Antibiotic doesnt finish until thursday & don't want it getting any worse x
Fresh air,lie him on an old towel folded over to catch and wee's and let him lie there with no nappy on fresh airs the quickest way X
Thank you ☺ Hes not having a very good week nearly lost the tip of his finger on the fire door & had to get all stitched up 😟 Thats what the antibiotics are for x
Metanium it is then 👍Thanks girls @jod1303 @hrbn2 @nadsx316 I have a 5year old & an 18month old & never had to deal with nappy rash before lol x
metanium! forget sudocrem...both of my girls used to suffer very badly with nappy rash when they were little and I tried everything! ...the Dr's prescribed everything and nothing would work and one day I was at my wits end and walked into the superdrug chemist and asked the pharmacist for help... he gave me the metanium and I never looked back! it's honestly a God send! lol ...i'd apply it (the yellow one as that's for when they actually have it and the white one is a barrier cream to prevent it) and then leave him without a nappy for a bit to dry it out and help the healing process but either way it will work xx
Yep, metanium twice a day works wonders. Also, now that it's getting warmer, running around the garden with no nappy on helps too, it's good to let the rash get some air xx
aww bless him! ouch!! that must have been so painful for him, poor little man...he'll be ok though he has a great mummy to look after him x
