I Hate When Moms Tell Other Moms They Need To Wait Till 40 Weeks To Try To Have There Baby , Some Women Body Just Can't…

I have a scheduled C-section at 37 weeks do you know if my baby will have to stay in the NICU??

No ones saying that. It's just that people try to start labor on their own too early. There's a difference between your body can't make it and I'm just so uncomfortable I want this baby out. @vanie100 most likely no your baby won't be in the nicu unless there is an issue

37 is considered full term , everyone's different I can't say that your baby will or will not . but 9/10 I wouldn't think so @vanie100 even though my daughter was a 32 weeker she went home when I would of been 36weeks

I have had all my boys between 36-37 weeks my body won't let me it just happens I have my boys earlier the some and they have all be healthy boys.

I have a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks do to high risk pregnancy and previously having failure to dialate past 5 cm. It is safest for both my baby and I. and I am having my tubes tied at the same time.

I'll be 35 weeks thursday and I want him out NOW. Lol but seriously my Dr thinkin about letting me have him a few weeks early because I have GD and he's too big....

@santistevanmommie, I know women who start to self induce around 35 weeks just because there body takes so long to dilate. I have a friend who has been doing everything since 34 weeks and she's 1 weeks shy on 40 weeks and still only a finger tip , basically she wanted to avoid being induced and that's understandable

@kreese88, all I can do is pray my son will be healthy all I heard in nicu with my daughter was boys were weaker than girls lol you just gave me hope lol because I really want him to come home when I have him at 36

@tabbytabz, I wish you well with that , I might have to have a c-section due to health issues but if been dilated to a 3cm for a month now every time I go into labor they stop it for now and I honestly believe when the time comes I won't even be able to dilate anymore

Amen!!! No on can tell you what will happen to your baby if born early everyone and every baby is different and if someone wants to naturally induce or start naturally inducing themselves so they can get the ball rolling that's their business. I can't make it past 35 weeks my son was born at 35 weeks and my Dr told me if I decide to have another baby I'll have to be watched closely cause the next one might be born earlier

My son didn't even have to go to the nicu at 36 weeks and 2 days he was born my dr said when she broke my water that night he may need to stay in nicu and he didn't, he was a healthy 6lbs 6 oz. the only problem that he had was regulating his body temperature so they kept him in a diaper and just laid him on the warmer, they had to check his sugar more often since he was 4 weeks early. But he still go to go home with me and is now a healthy 17 lb baby at 7 months. I wish you all the best!

he was almost 6lbs at 33 weeks...they're giving me another growth ultrasound at about 37 weeks and go from there...I have had trouble with my BP and sugar so I'm glad he may get to come early. my first one was a week late

@wyatts_mommy_0106, some women body's are stronger than others they are honestly prepared for me to deliver around 32 because with my daughter my body just naturally went into labor and couldn't stop it but if I do past 32 they said definitely baby will be coming out by 36 weeks there done trying to stop my labor lol and that's when I end my shot I get every week to help me stay pregnant so they said after then they won't even stop it anymore

Yes. my son never went to nicu he could breath on his own we had a few obstacles but we got to go home 4 days after he was born and i aent into labor on my own my water broke and i had to deliver. Lol sounds like your dr is making sure baby is healthy when it's time and most Dr's are very educated about when it's safe for a mom to deliver their baby since they make a bunch of money to do their job and have been through years of school. I swear ppl think Google has a PhD when half the time Google convinces you you are dying lmao (just my opinion )

@mommyof20816, ohh wow 6 pounds ....I would of fell out lol I get a ultrasound every Tuesday and when I was admitted to the hospital at 24 weeks he was 1pound but last week he was a couple oz shy of 3 pounds I'm 28 weeks now my daughter was 4pounds 6oz at birth at 32 weeks I really think this boy will be a big one

@wyatts_mommy_0106, some things I just Dont Google lol they have so many opinions especially about pregnancy , and my doctor even go a specialist above her to come in to make sure she was making all the right decision regarding me and this baby and I honestly trust them to do everything they can when I first got here they did talk to me about the nick stay but the other day they came back and were surprised I was still holding on every day counts so I hope I can skip the nicu stay this time

That's awesome your dr got another opinion that just shows your in good hands. I hope you can skip the nicu for this baby that's gotta be tough. hopefully baby stays put until 36 weeks for you. Yeah I stay off Google unless I'm looking at a recipe lol. There are good Dr's and when you let them do their job most know what they are talking about my Dr actually came in a few hrs after I had my son and apologized he didn't monitor me a little closer when my BP started spiking the last few weeks he didn't think I'd go into labor and I never complained about anything cause I assumed it was normal but I didn't have signs I'd go into labor besides the day my water broke I felt off hours before it broke.

@wyatts_mommy_0106, everything just feels normal to me I never even knew I was dilating I told them I felt crampy when I got my weekly shot and wanted to go home and my doctor wasn't there but my regular obgyn outside of pregnancy was there and she handled my first pregnancy she told me no to let her check me an I was 3 cm she sent me straight to L&D I had my daughter with me an everything smh lol but I'm glad your son was a healthy 36 weeker and went home hopefully my son will be too
