@shannaa24, I don't want much for pain to begin with anyways I took tylenol and it helped me sleep contractions aren't AS bad as I thought they would be, I mean they hurt don't get me wrong but I had myself so scared not knowing what to expect lol that Foley bulb tho.. that was pure utter pain, idk why they even tried that when I was only a fingertip dilated youch. lol but it's over fast I'm still bleeding from it.. so that freaked me out as well.. otherwise it wasn't that terrible of a first experience minus the fact that I had to come home without a baby in my arms :(

@paige1212, hopefully you'll go into labor soon. then they can give you something for the pain, so you won't have to feel the pain anymore. So they sent you home after all of this?

@jacesterlingsmommy, it really isn't that bad being induced, it's just tiring because you never know if your progressing and it's stressful that my body won't progress on its own, I'm 40 weeks today and I have high blood pressure I just want him out safely

Same thing happened to my aunt. They tried twice and then she finally started dilating and his heartrate was dropping too bad and ended in an emergency c section. Best of luck I'm scared of having to be induced too!

@shannaa24, I was admitted for two days, over 20+ hours of strong contractions but no progress :( I did two vaginally inserted pills called cytotec I think lol and one cervadil only dilated to a 1. they tried the Foley bulb when I was a fingertip and it was honest to God the most painful thing I've ever felt in my life.. but next week when I'm induced they will do a lot more I'm sure.. it's not as bad as you would imagine though I just hated not being able to get up and move as much as I wanted and I have back labor so that hurts too lol

what did they do for your induction? I thought that was something you go to the hospital for and are admitted in. I've heard of membrane sweep as well. I've never experienced either. supposed to be induced this time around at 36 weeks with a schedule c-section. all new to me.

@jessd1988, didn't dilate passed a 1 they didn't break my water or anything either

No pitocin?
