How Did a Morning Drive Turn Into a Life-Changing Accident?
at around 7:50am this morning I was driving go school like any normal day. I was sitting at a red light I replied to my husband's message then stared at the SUV in front of me. she has started to move so I did too. she stopped on her breaks very quickly and I was unable to hit mine fast enough. I was MAYBE going 10mph, not even. I was rushed to the hospital due to being 6 months pregnant and rh- blood type. I was in horrible shock and couldn't stop crying. I lost the only vehicle we had, right after we both just lost our jobs and everything else we had. we now have nothing but a bed. my son is doing great I will be covered in bruises and have a horrible on going migraine. the officer came and saw me to give me my ticket for no license and "failure to control speed" according to the officer the lady had stopped because she was turning left and on coming traffic was going straight.. she never had a damn blinker on... if I would have known she was turning I wouldn't have moved my truck. I lost the truck and my belongings tell I have the owner come with me to the towing place to get it out.. bas my wallet my school ID, they last 10$ I had, my foot stamp card ( which gets refilled tomorrow) and even my social and birth certificate... when I think things look up for us.. they all just come tumbling back down... :,(

That's the one thing I'm most scared about when driving while pregnant and it don't matter really if she had a blinker or not my hubby told me the person in the back is always at fault which sucks ass because you didn't know she was turning at all even if it's 10 mph you can still hit her car hard and push it front that's why I always wait till I see their plates to start going people don't know how to drive anymore I'm just glad you and baby are okay and well I hope things get better for you love

I know and yeah I'm scared to be in a car right now... and yeah my lower part of my belly is extremely sore to even touch the nurse said they'll be bruises and I'll have one on my right boob from the seat belt pulling me back but I know I didn't hit hard enough to have air bags come out

@mrsb14 Yeah, that's a lot of damage. Even bruises? @mommyof2016 I hope you feel better. Definitely don't pull your phone out anymore when driving. Even if the light is red. You just never know. Also, keep a license on you at all times. Even if something was to go wrong ,you know. Not like you don't know. I'm only saying.

I slammed into the back of her pretty hard my whole belly smashed into the wheel of my truck but she stopped extremely quickly I really have no idea how fast I was going I had just stepped on the gas when she stopped and hit the back of her I was decent distance when I hit the gas but the sudden stop and I didn't have time to hit my breaks

@junesmommy15, that's what I was thinking. 10mph doesn't seem right for all that.

I have no idea :( they tow company won't let us see the truck and when it happened I didn't get out of the truck to look and I was instructed not to move
