What in the world! Is there a way you can bring him back to court to see another judge? Or pursue the case in a higher court? Cuz that doesn't seem right :/

Are they at least supervised by you or like one of them parent places? But that is still fucked up! And then they wonder why there's so many children ending up how they are because they think "oh drugs? No big deal"

these judges are just soo dumb! my nephew's dad was abusive to my sister & didn't show attention as needed to his son & was on drugs ..yet he is still getting visits! if that's not crazy enough he even had charges with his current baby momma and made her have her baby early,yet he still got to be there the day his baby was born.

Parents have a legal right to visitation. You would have to be able to prove that your child would be in danger while in a supervised setting for visits to be restricted completely. As in, even under supervision of a court professional he shows up under the influence and is behaving in a manner that is physically harmful to your child. If he is able to behave under supervison, it's best practice for the best interest of the child to maintain a relationship with their biological parent.

my mom woll be doing the supervising, and we'll be jotting everything down. I think he needs drug clases parenting classes and anger management classes. if he can prove he can not get upset with jace and yell at him, then ill be more open to visits, as long as he gets the help he needs and doesnt have any mental break downs, because his are dangerous, and I dont want jace alone with him.

That's good that it's your mom supervising! You know she'll be honest whereas his mom may not be as much. I am surprised the judge didn't order those classes for him.

@workingmom55, we have another court date on june 22 and she said she'd order them for him. she was going to give him four hours by himself on Saturday and I said absolutely not. and I told her he only affiliates himself with past and present felons who do meth, and thats not okay!!
