When should I feel my baby kicking or moving for the first time? There are some days that I think its him but then it never happens again I'm already 18+4 wks and also a ftm.. The pregnancy app I have said I should start to feel him around 17 wks.. I try and feel him with my hands and I'll sit still and try the whole drinking oj or something sugary and I still don't feel anything. On May 16 I go for my 20wk scan if I don't feel him by then should ask or is this normal?

I just asked my Dr this I'm 19 +3 she said typically ftm won't feel it until 21 or 22 weeks.

I haven't felt a thing and I am almost 15 weeks. And he is perfectly healthy in there! Don't worry. Your OB will let you know if it's a problem. Always use your visits to ask any important questions you have if they aren't answered!
it takes a first time mom a little longer, this is my 4th baby third pregnancy and I didn't feel my little guy till 19 weeks and now 24wks he doesn't stop
its normal most moms dont feel them til after 20 weeks it all depends and being your first baby you might start feeling it till a lil after the 20 week mark... @tuckerlee1016
