At what age is a good age to train a baby for potty train????
My baby girl is about to be 13 months and I'm thinking maybe is that time for potty train but I'm not sure!!!
I'll have to try that lol. I just don't want to be cleaning poop off everything !@ya0515
She understands that she doesn't wanna sit in her pee or poop. She was pulling at her diapers and hated being wet. When I started offering the potty and diaper free time she was loving it! Now she doesn't wear diapers at all. undies in day time. naked from waist down at night. @sandycheeks
I started at 2 with both my boys.... But I have heard it is easier if you start sooner. There was actually an article I read that says as soon as they can sit up, you should start. Which would be their early months. I'll try around 6 months this time since I'll be home for a while after having her.
@sandycheeks, don't push. just follow their flow. All you can do is offer potty.
I'll look it up. that's so crazy tho. I don't want to push mine too hard that's why I've waited until they talk more and now they start to pull on their diapers and say poop or pee. that's good tho! @ya0515
girl I've never heard of that. I have a 1 and 2 year old and they just don't understand yet. the older one I've been letting him wear undies at home and make him go to the potty to start working on it but he still doesn't fully understand! @mama04092015
@sandycheeks, look up elimination communication. It'll help you understand a little more. For a baby that young it's not technically called potty training. She can sign to me when she has to potty.
7 months ? what? most babies aren't even walking at 7 months. he'll my kids weren't walking until 1.... there is no way! my 2 year old doesn't fully understand to tell me when he has to go potty=/
lol. well keep diapers on but offer potty more. I say go diaper free for an hour or two for observation time. Just to watch when they pee and such. I wish you the best of luck
