Was anyone else absolutely terrified to give birth ? I know that sounds extremely immature but I'm like really fucking scared...
i am so terrified:( but i just keep reminding myself that i can do this. that i must be strong. i hate not knowing but the other day i had back pain and contractions for four hours that just stopped randomly. i really thought i was in labor because it was pretty painful and getting intense. i was scared but i was able to keep my cool, i kept breathing and not letting myself freak out. and tbh the four hours went by pretty fast. still nothing to compare to real labor but still it gave me an idea of what it may be like. still scared though but i gotta try to keep my cool.
I had a mental breakdown 45 minutes before I started pushing 😂😂 literally told everyone I couldn't have this baby, that I was to tired, that I was adopting the rest of my kids😂 granted labor lasted 36 hours for me so that played a role but still
I was terrified too because you really don't know what to expect. But when the time comes I think all that goes away and you just go with the flow because your so anxious to see the baby.
this is my third baby and I'm still scared I had a real contraction just the other day and it brought back all.the memories of labor 😢😢 i.might just have an epidural this time
Ahhhh .! I have horrible pain tolerance, I swore my water broke the other day & I cried the whole way to the hospital saying "I don't want him to come out " lol
I was scared..and to be honest I didn't know which one scared me the most. I ended up having to have a c-section 20 days ago. I was scared until I heard her cry. Once I heard her cries I didn't care anymore. I remember them prepping me for the spinal tap in my back. I was like ok girl this is it. I prayed and it was time for me to put my big girl panties on and just get it over with. I just kept reminding myself that women go through this everyday. It's funny because they started before my husband was in the room and I kept saying please get my husband. Once he was there I was more relaxed.
I am! ftm here too and I'm so nervous...
Exactly. I'm beyond ready to meet my son but that doesn't stop me from thinking about the pain & all the things that could possibly go wrong.
I hear if you close your eyes through the contractions and focus on listening to your breathing it helps a lot. Also picturing your baby and using BD's/boyfriend's/hubby's hand to squeeze. Don't be scared to be vocal. I know I'm going to be screaming through the contractions and I do not care one bit lol. But I'm terrified too girl don't worry you're not alone
