this is probably crazy.. but I'm 30 weeks pregnant & my whole pregnancy I've wanted to breastfeed cause of the nutritional benefits of it. But, it's always been such a sexual thing for me I'm afraid of not being able to do it & being scared to.. did anyone else have this problem? does it go away once you have your baby?
so I've always been very into my boyfriend playing with my nipples. it was a huge turn on spot for me. i have been breastfeeding for about 7 months now. my boyfriend just recently started playing with my nipples again & yes it turned me on but since I've bf my son I've never been turned on my bfing. there is a division when it comes to the two. i love the feeling of feeding my son & knowing how much he needs me & how amazing my body is to not only make him but birth him & make food to keep him alive. does that make sense?
I'm not sure about everyone else, but my nipples kind of went numb. this that used to bother them, hurt them, or feel weird, I can't even feel anymore. so even if my SO tried to use them to turn me on I'd probably be weirded out by it lol
it absolutely does go away. nursing is hard at first too, so please if I could tell you anything, remember it will get easier.
I'm in the same boat, so I asked a friend while she was nursing her son the other day. She said that if she closed her eyes and thought about it, it did have a "turn you on" type of sensation, but breastfeeding wasn't weird because you're feeding your baby. The sensation is actually releasing the hormone oxytocin which makes a bond between you and your baby. So in a way, it's good that it feels good, but your baby won't turn you on at the same time. @miababy16
yes it does. I wasn't so much worried about being turned on from it.. just the fact that it's such a sexual thing for me. I don't want to be/feel uncomfortable feeding my child.
