so my cervix has shortened and thinned a lot but is still closed. I went from a 26mm last Wednesday to a 22mm today. I didn't expect it to change that fast. I now go in for a steroid shot tomorrow morning and Friday. it'll help the babies lungs mature. my doctor now hopes I make it one more month to atleast 32 weeks. She said good thing is I'm in my third trimester. now put on strick home bed. I can't work and go to my baby shower Saturday but that's it. my working is at home at the desk. so that's fine. other then that I need to be laying down.
@motheroftwojk, well good thing is your baby will be fine when he or she arrives. it's really nice knowing about the nicu and all the care it gives to babies.
Keeping you in prayer @shannaa24 ❤️🙏🏼
@shannaa24, they will try to stop him but for some reason my body doesn't take to the magnesium i will still dilate through it luckily my body stopped on its own I still have daily contractions but thankfully they aren't making me dilate anymore than I have the same thing happen happen with may daughter at 32weeks I was on the magnesium they stopped my contractions went a whole night without them, then was about to get sent home but they checked me first soon as he lifted my legs boom water broke , its definitely a very hard thing to do I have so many books of crosswords and a tablet full of games lol but I tried to plan ahead as well for my shower and pictures but this guy just doesn't want to wait. I ready hope you can hold off.
@dang_dridri, @motheroftwojk thank you both. :)
having a 1 year old is definitely hard on you to rest. there's no way that could be easy for you. I have a 4 year old. he goes to preschool during the day, and I work from home. which makes things a whole lot easier. But when he's home he's definitely needy. We're trying to get him to work with us. my husbands gonna do it all. I feel so bad. But I know it's for the best. I didn't listen to my doctor about taking things easier. I was up doing alot of cleaning lastnight. I'm so ocd, about getting things done and taking care of my home and family it's hard to just lay there. but I gotta make sure all my children are taking care of. Doctor said if I don't rest this month then I will have to be on strict bedrest in the hospital. She told me herself she wouldn't make it on bedrest. it definitely sounds hard. I really hope I can manage to not do anything. We're in the process of moving here soon as well. so hubby is gonna be left doing it all. I was already so worried about this a head of time. I tried to get my baby shower done earlier. but for some reason my mom and sister in law just thought I was stupid and didn't want to listen to my situation. my mom still isn't fully understanding and I don't know why.
Are the doctors able to hold you off on going into full labor? or are you at that point, to where the baby will come whenever it's ready?
praying for you , do exactly as they say . I didn't totally listen when on home bed rest because I have a 1yr old now I'm in the hospital on bed rest dilated to 3cm && 50%
Prayers for you and you the babies. Hopefully they can wait a little longer.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
