i had mirena and the nurva ring and i gain weight and was a big bitch all the time.

i had nexplanon before

my doctor recommended mirena because it lightens periods or completely eliminates them

I'm just getting the shot. Since I'm breastfeeding I don't have a ton of options. I don't want anything that gets put in my so that eliminates the iud and arm implant and I always forget the pill so the shot it is.

I took Depo shot you get it every 3 months no periods but I gained alot

I was thinking of the nexplanon bc it seems like it would work out Alot better. bc I'm always on the go. and can't remember to take a pill sometimes. I'm not breastfeeding bc I had a blood type of cancer when I was younger. and it could effect the nutrients in my milk, but, I'm just trying to find the easiest option.

I have the implant it last 3 years 100% this is my secound one and u don't have to worry about it and after the 3 years if u want another one they will put another one in at the same time they take the other one out

I would seriously reconsider getting ANYTHING that has to be physically inserted into the body (nexplanon, IUD). The risks and side effects are much more serious and they just have a huge impact on the body (foreign object so it's expected). I had the nexplanon and a long with having every terrible side effect you could possibly have, it ended up moving and I was told that it would have caused permanent muscle damage had it moved just a tiny bit more. they had to dig into my arm to get it out and I couldn't even lift my arm for weeks.

oh that's scary! just looking at options, bc I REALLY do not wanna get pregnant again right off the bat after my first is born. I'm allergic to latex so condoms are out of the question. I know there's kinds that aren't latex, but they're too uncomfortable for me.

I've had both implants and will never do it again I'm going for the depo shot

some say it makes u gain weight but I didn't I was on it for 3 years before I choose to change @_kmoss.madisonsmommy_

I know it's an extremely low % but I got pregnant with my son while on the shot. I had been on since I had my daughter (3.5 years). Like I said, such a low chance but it's still there

I was on the shot and it made me gain quite a bit of weight. I'm not going on anything after my baby is born because I've had quite a few issues with my cycle so I worry about messing it all back up again lol.
