@emeliaday, did they teach you how to pase and only allow so much in the nipple at a time?..

@aphrodite2014, he just can't keep up. The milk runs out without him even latching on the nipple - he is a preemie - once he latched he does great but the nipples can't just run the milk out or he can't handle it. He is getting better - just needs practice.

@emeliaday, I'd suggest maybe going to mid flow and learning to pace her

@aphrodite2014, yes. It appears this shape is discontinued. I found some on Amazon but they are mid flow instead of slow

have you taken one of the nipped with you to compare then to other bottles?..

@aphrodite2014, I can get 2-3 uses out of them before they start to break down. But not being able to use a full size bottle is becoming a problem also.

hum. are they not solid enough that you can't just wash those nappies and reuse them?. the Similac disposable nippl3s we use in the nice where I'm at we send them home with parents all the time so that they can use them and reuse them.. the only reason they are disposable in the nicu is because it's a sterile environment and they have the money to just chunk them if it drops on the floor or after every use. I've seen a lot of parents just reuse the disposable ones..

@aphrodite2014, I have the disposable nuk ones but that is getting expensive quickly and they don't fit any traditional bottles. @edomke thanks. I'm gonna keep working with the nuk ones because he seems to like them the most.

maybe try a cheep Walmart brand nipple.. or see if amazon has some of the disposable nuke like they had in the nicu

I would try to stick to one brand but I do like the MAM brand too! Try those but definitely try to stick with one brand and see how it goes

We have tried Nuk, Tommy tippee and dr brown. The LC said doc brown is too flat for him that's why he didn't like it. He takes them all fine but can't seem to hold good suction on any except the nuk disposable. Maybe he will adjust if we keep trying? I am breastfeeding some but mostly pumping and bottling due to inverted nipples and him being a preemie.

What brands have you tried? I love my glass and dr brown ones
