does anyone know a good healthy diet to be on and exercise, and how to lose weight safely? I weigh 200 pounds and im only 5'2 I want to be at a more healthy weight for me and my developing baby any suggestions would be great :)
I began brisk walking and prenatal yoga when I was 5 wks and eating super healthy ,I cut out all white flour since it turns straight to sugar and increased veggies. I also only drank water. so far I've lost 47 lb and im almost 29 wks and baby is growing at a normal rate!
Cut out soda only drink water , don't eat after 8 and smaller portions and walk a lot I was st 200 pounds my last pregnancy and that's how I dropped all my weight I got down to 143
You definitely don't want to "diet" while pregnant. Unless diet to you means still eating the right number of calories and just switching to healthy choices: yogurt, salad, fruit, nuts, meat, low Mercury fish, etc. Try to avoid giving in to temptations and eating chips, cookies, ice cream, candy, any fried foods, etc. I do know overweight ladies who have lost weight (or gained very little) during pregnancy because they were eating as heathy as they could and exercising some. Definitely try walking for 30 min a day or swimming. Yoga is great. I actually use light weights at the gym and use Jamie Eason's workout programs as a guide. She just had her baby and has some great little workout videos (while she's pregnant) that she posted on her Instagram using light Dumbbells but they can be done without weight too.
Losing weight while pregnant is like next to impossible but I know how u feel I was 165 before this n now I'm 207 ssoooo far n I'm only 5'4 .... But just eat healthy (salads, poultry, fruits) drink lots of water n walk. That's what I do n I'm not watching my weight Bc I know I can lose it after my munchkin is here!!!
