Also no one is allowed to come to the hospital without having the tdap shot. Plain and simple.

I had a rule with my daughter and that was wash your hands to your elbows then dry and sanitize up to the elbows before holding the baby.

I also said that they want to get mad oh well this is mine and Ryan's child not theirs what we say go because we are the parents... I don't put up with anyone's bull crap if they want to get mad oh well and the reason why I am very mean about it because if I'm nice about it they won't take me seriously so now I'm putting my foot down and telling them straight up this is what's going to happen

I have to ask my grandma very nicely not to smoke before she enters the hospital. She can smoke on her way but before she enters she needs to not. And wash her hands! I don't want my babies to be assaulted by cigarette smell their first day of life! As long as you are nice about it they really can't get mad. My father in law chews his fingers so bad they bleed I'm more worried about telling him he can't hold the babies unless he lets his hands heal! I know he's going to get super upset. But I can't have him putting bloody fingers on my newborns!

I know you can make signs that hangs on the outside of the hospital door that say please wash hands before touch baby and if sick please come back another time.

make sure who ever you invite knows they need to wash their hands, there is also usually hand sanitizer in the rooms. when you invite them just politely ask anyone that has been exposed or is currently sick to kindly wait to visit.
