I think we will be switching to formula today I have been pumping ever hour and a half just to make enough for one feeding my nipples are cracked and bruised.
I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Things I never thought I'd say... Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

are you using an electric pump? are the breast shields the right size? how often is baby nursing?

try breastfeeding every 2 to 3 hours on demand. the body will produce more milk the more your baby suckles

Why are you pumping? No out every woman responds to a pump well. A closed pump system is better than an open one. Some women who don't respond well with electric do better with manual and vice versa. If you're only pumping, you need topump every 2 hours during the day and 3 at night. How are diapers? How many in a 24 hour period? Is baby lip or tongue tied? How is latch? Are bottles pacefed?

@meagansimone, my son was born with cleft palate I pump every 3 hours even at night I wake up and pump. ive pumped from the day he was born never had a problem with my supply until last Wednesday I use nipple cream and when my son was in the Nicu the lactation specialist gave me the right size flang. I put him to the breast twice a day for stimulation. I just idk
