Given inducing meds at 10:30PM, Water broke shortly after midnight, hours of absolutely unbearable pain; 4AM opted for the epidural which led me to sleep for an hour or so and once I was fully dilated waited for over an hour for my doctor to arrive 🙄 then gave birth at 8:40AM... IF you are induced... Please don't deny getting pain help, I really wanted and tried to go all natural, I just couldn't do it. Honestly I've been through some painful experiences in my life and it was the worst I didn't have any idea how bad it would be because of being induced the contractions are much much stronger and intense

I got induced over 7 yrs ago with my son. They induced me & broke my water at 5:30am, but I did not go into labor until around 7pm and gave birth at 10:20pm.

3 days. Checked in @3pm Wednesday. Got cervadil (12 hour cervix softener) from 6p-6a started getting contractions after that. Got pitocin around 12p... Started dilating very slowly. The next morning around 7am my OB came in and broke my water. I was barely dilated @5. I got a numbing medication around 5pm and it seriously freaked me out and made me feel like I was on street drugs lmao. I finally got my epidural about an hour after that. I started catching a fever so I got medicine for that... I had the shakes/shivers and started throwing up.. My daughters heart rate started dropping so I got meds for that. I wasn't able to eat or drink anything but ice chips the last 5 hours of labor just in case I had to go to C section. I started pushing around 7pm and 2 1/2 hours later she was here! I was almost going to have to use the vacuum thing to suck her out and if that didn't work then I was going to get rushed to get a C section. But I was scared. I pushed for my life and got her out!! The epidural didn't work at all for me. I had to keep getting a different medicine from the anesthesiologist every couple hours. It was intense!! If they offer you a sleeping aid, take it! I said no and didn't get any good sleep!! Eat before you check in just in case you aren't able to eat. Walk around as much as you can! The yoga ball was my best friend! Bouncing on it helped my contractions a lot. The hospital I was at had one in the room. Ask questions and be honest with how much pain you're in! I really wanted to do it natural but couldn't stand the pain it was the worstttttttt!!! I also hated the IV's and urine catheter it made me feel like I had a burning UTI😭 everyone is different though!! Be strong and remember to be relaxed as possible and breatheeeee❤️😘😘
