my daughter was high risk for jaundice as well and we got to leave 48 hours after I had her.

@ethansmommy2016, Ya they should have had him on the lights as soon as they noticed it. My son was on the light for 2 days while I was in the hospital. And then for a week while we were home. I would have them put him on the lights now if they don't already. That is just crazy to me.

@crazymommy04, I honestly have no idea they just told me they might keep him ☹️ but I will ask and see what happens 😩 I just figured if they really wanted to keep him they would've just put him under the light today while I'm here still. 😑

Does your hospital not allow take home equipment? my now one year old had jaundice and we had the inhome health care come and drop it off. We the the Billy blanket and a bed. I would ask about that, see if they could do that for you.

I know what you mean. I was so worried he would have to stay at the hospital when we left.

@babyj2016, I hope so too momma 😭 I mean I know it's not too much of a big deal because I'm sure other mommies deal with worse but I've bonded so much with my son I just don't wanna leave him.

My son had jaundice when he was born. They let us take him home but had us come back the next day so they could check on him. Hopefully your hospital is the same wat
