We've been practicing sitting. I try to do tummy time to strengthen his abdomen but he still hates to be on his belly sometimes and just rolls over. 7 & a half months and he's doing so much better! He's always had a strong neck but sitting was a struggle. Better a little late than never! Always sucking on that bottom lip 😂

A Bumbo is good however it doesn't strengthen the muscles because it's doing the work for them. We have one however his chunky butt gets stuck when we take him out. @aidensmommy

Haha I agree, I was trying to say that he is doing great, that was kinda my point how babies differ in their development but all do great in their own ways 😁 anyways, he's a cutie and no worries mama 😊

Oh no, I didn't see your last posts! I'm glad you were reassured he is doing fine, and actually most articles I've read (and I've read a LOT) all say that the average baby can sit up without help by 8 months, so he still had a while 😊 also crawling is more like 7 to 9 months, pulling up 8 to 10 months and so on....I have a friend who's baby didn't roll until 9 months! Your lil guy is doing great! And a lot of the time when babies take their time with the physical side of development, they often will be focused on other kinds of development like speech or hand-eye coordination and will be ahead in these other areas and catch up with the physical stuff in their own time 😁

Yea if you read my posts a few back I talked about how I was upset with the doctor but he's doing great because I had him evaluated and he's not behind developmentally he's just taking his time @hellosweetie

What a cutie! My girl makes that face haha, she's 7.5 months old, too! We call it the bulldog face hahaha it is so nice to see differences in development, our girl was always super early on everything! 3 weeks good head control, 3 months rolling, 4 months sitting for a few minutes, 5 months sitting well and army crawling, 6 months pulling up to a stand and getting up and down from sitting, also crawling on hands and knees.....now can cruise along furniture quite well! Not here to compare, I just genuinely love to see how other babies develop, as a first time mom it's nice to know that we can relax and let her learn at her own pace, so far she's doing quite well but next we gotta wait for standing without holding furniture and walking!
