Tips for trying to make baby latch back on after a week of not breastfeeding? he's going on 3 weeks old on Thursday. the first week home he did excellent with breastfeeding then the 2nd week he started screaming every time we tried :/

Have you check in his mouth for a tongue/lip tie? That can cause babys not wanna latch sometimes.. Or you could extract a little milk out of your nipple and use your nipple to rub it on his upper lip to see if that makes him wanna latch. But yes, definitely try a nipple shield as well, worked amazingly the first 2wks for me then we eventually stopped using it.
