yep. lactation consult and the peds doctor both are struggling trying to get him to latch, or even build interest in a breast. if you put him near one and express, he WILL scream he will not even try. the NICU just has him too used to bottle nipples. @tahtahme

The nipple shield too? Just remember breastfeeding takes time and practice for baby to learn. I learned this in the hospital when I complained I tried 100x he wasn't hungry the nurse said try 101x

have you tried those pumping routines of 10 min on 10 min off for a little while? Also skin to skin with baby helps. Alsoin the morning gives more than night. Have you tried putting babies mouth to nipple? And trying to get a latch? Try that a few times a day every day! Or get a nipple shield and try to get baby to latch. Ink if you can't at all, but baby by breast releases the hormones for attachment AND milk

Have you heard of mothers milk tea? Also oatmeal is suppose to help! And if you look on Pinterest you'll find lactation smoothies and cookie recipes. My baby is 2 months and I'm dreading the day my production gets low :(
