so any new mommies jump right into working out after having your baby? or is it really to hard to focus on working out with a newborn?

i keep thinking about how right after i give birth i plan on working out everyday like i used too but, is it even possible?

Childbirth is one of the most traumatic experiences our body will ever go through. You really should try and heal up. If you really feel an itch to exercise, grab the stroller and take baby for a walk :) Low impact, and bonus points to get baby asleep if s/he is cranky!

I plan to after I heal & feel up to it a lot of people say wait because you'll be exhausted but I know A LOT of new moms that have healed quickly and got back to doing what they were doing before everyone is different so it will all depend on how your body responds after labor😊....

Your doctor will not want you to. You need time to heal and honestly you'll be exhausted after having your baby for the first few weeks. Give yourself time.

@angel268, I'm a workout freak, and I don't plan to. Your body will really need time to heal! You could really mess up stuff if you don't let everything get back into its right places and let your stitches heal. On top of being exhausted, you don't wanna drain you body and then have it take even longer to heal.
