If i drank one beer and then pumped right after or waited a hour and pumped would it be out of my boob so i can breastfeed no judging please!!
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
I need to find a breast pump that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. :(
My breast are heavy and full with milk but when I squeeze nothing comes out and when I try to pump nothing is pumped into the breast pump its like I have milk but its stuck and wont come out...any tips or help on this.. i really would like to breastfeed my daughter....
Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.

U can buy testers for ur milk at walmart. but I've always heard wait 24 hours

they have little strips you can buy to test your breast milk for alcohol. I dont think it would go through your system that fast but I guess you never know

One beer is fine while breastfeeding. Have it after a feeding so it'll be an hour or 2 before your next feeding and you're good

Urgg i have no way to Walmart lol im dying just to have one beer!! But i want to make sure there is no way at all she will get it! Bc she wont take the milk from a bottle only from my boob!

You don't need to pump then feed. There is no need. The % of alcohol that is actually transferred in breastmilk is ridiculously small. The test strips are made more of if you're goin to go out and get plastered drunk. Not for one beer

Actually one beer 3-4 times a week can boost supply because the brewers yeast that's used to make it.

one beer wont do much. i know some people that drink 1 beer to get more milk supply and i asked my lactation consultant and she said its absolutely fine. i drink one here and there

You can test your breastfeeding milk and it'll tell you if your milk is no longer toxic or not.

Your body and your breast milk will take the same amount of time to rid yourself of the alcohol. My suggestion is to pump a bottle in case your baby gets hungry and then wait about 2-3 hours for one beer...

Try different kinds of bottles and if she won't then you might just have to wait until she will
