okay so I have a friend that's pregnant as well and she's worried about if she smoked before her due date as long as she goes into labor and doesn't have anything to worry about will she be able to take the baby home without any problems or folks involved... I'm trying to tell her not to worry but sues concerned

i agree with @laina14 at my school that i work at we have a cps baby and its such a sad story i can't say anything or what happend. but u should tell your friend to not do anytbing that will risk cps getting involved @sheriece20
how long ago did she smoke? and weed can stay in her system up to a month so if she did it recently yes her baby wil test positive. if she did it in the beginning of her pregnancy shes probably fine and the baby is healthy then she is fine. @sheriece20
Some states and areas differ with this, some are really strict, some not so much. id quit either way to aviod problems with CPS, and possibly getting baby takin away.
yeah and I told her I'm not sure because everyone says different things but some say if there aren't complications she'll be fine
If baby tests positive for any Street drug at birth, Child protective services will get involved!!
smokes what? I think it's best if she stops smoking right now till after the baby is born
If she smoked recently it'll be in the baby's system but if she quit at say 5 or 6 months she'll be ok
