Ok, I need some advice. I am cloth diapering my son but he is saturating the prefolds I'm using. they are fully prepped so they should be holding up better than this. even his poops are leaking through. I've tried different folds and different sized diapers. I know they aren't supposed to hold in the liquid like disposables but I feel like they should be holding up better than this.

I have to use flour sack towels, hemp, and bamboo inserts only to prevent leaks. I have done prefolds that work too, but I have no clue what brand they are. You may need to check the fit of the diaper or change more often.

@tinitazz, yeah it does. I have a couple different ones but he's still a little small for some. I do love my luludew fitteds. they are super easy so I'll probably just get a few more of those until he's big enough to start using the pockets we have. AIO's are pretty easy too but you can't reuse any of the parts like prefolds with covers.

No problem.
We may run into the same problem that you did. Apparently experimentation is the best way to go to find the right cloth diapers for you. Sucks they're so expensive.

Hopefully this helps. She talks about the different types of cloth diapers, the pros and cons and the different types of fold and additions that you can make for the best cloth diapering experience.
