Okay mommas! I have had several people and couples come to me asking if I have started taking birthing classes yet (I'm 25 weeks) and it honestly has never crossed my mind. I'm constantly looking online and reading different articles about child birth and breastfeeding etc. I may not know it all but I've gotten very educated from just being curious. so my question is, are birthing classes really all that necessary?
you will freak until you give birth lol. Its just something we do. I can't think of a single woman who doesn't and has it all together.
I didn't take them you'll know what your doing when it's time and your body does most of the work for you
I've honestly been really nervous and freaking out for about a week now, ya know it's just all becoming real and I feel like I wasted to much time and am not gunna "get it all done". but I've been reading and am still kinda freaking out lol
it was mandatory I take the one my hospital gave if I wanted to give birth there. it wasn't anything I hadn't already read about. its really a personal preference if you ask me.
lol no. I had my son at 17, never took a birthing class and my nurses and doctors were so impressed, said i was the best laboring first time mom they had ever seen. went through delivery like a champ and somehow managed to get it all with little advice from my doctor or nurses. as long as you remember to breathe and stay calm you're well on your way there. :)
I didn't take any. sometimes I wish I would have. other times I realize I know what to do and I'm glad I didn't spend the money.
