How do you guys let your new born sleep? If you sleep with them in the bed do you let them lay on your chest or next to you?
I felt more comfortable with him on my chest when he was that young. I am such a light sleeper now that when he even makes a noise I wake up lol. I just made sure his head was turned to the side and he was up high enough that he was above my boobs and couldn't get his face buried at all. I saw that your son is less than a week old so he can't lift his head and move it from side to side anyway (I'm assuming) so he won't move his head while he's sleeping and will be just fine!😊
@mommy_faith, I laid him on his back and on his side past nights but tonight I figured it would be easier for him to be on my chest but i wasn't sure if it was safe since they always say don't lay your baby on their stomach
whatever works best for you. it worked better for our son to sleep in his mamaroo beside my husband, I had a c section so it was easier for the baby to be on his side and him hand him to me or we would switch off. some nights our son slept with us and some nights on us. it's all trial and error on what works best for you and yours
When my son was a newborn he slept on my chest but once he got bigger, around 3 months he would sleep next to me. I would lay on my side and put him on his back right next to me and i wrap my arm around him.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
