Feeling very worried....I've always been a believer that everything will be okay but we are really struggling financially and I just don't understand how we don't qualify for any government help! I'm not sure what to do and my little blessing will be here in just approx 7 weeks! sigh

Ah yeah it's a little tricky when married. I'm thinking of just saying I live with a roommate. ( technically he will be) That way they won't ask no questions! Fingers crossed. Good luck to you too. Unfortunately in this world you can make a .25 cents over whatever their limit is and they can't budge for you it's ridiculous. Some people seriously need help while others mooch off the system. And theirs A fine line between who those people are.
exactly @finallypink429 . I'm thinking of trying to work nights and weekends when baby comes bc childcare prices are outrageous. I can't cover it, it makes no sense. something has to change with this society.

Im in the same boat. I did get WIC but when I move in with my BF I wanted to apply for more assistance because I won't have a job.Hopefully they just go off me and not him cause then I won't get anything.
Yup. Makes me wonder if maybe we don't work and sit around we could get the help we need. I'm beyond frustrated, some months idk how we're going to make it because I hardly work and when in do in practically using the money I make to send my son to daycare so I can work. Makes no sense

We don't qualify for anything either, it makes no sense, they don't look at the whole picture of having to pay to live somewhere or basic necessities you have to pay for, they just look at the gross income. It's bullshit
I'm sorry. I hope things turn up and things get better. We don't qualify for any help either and it sucks in times when you really could use a little hand.
do both of you work? WIC hun ..try applying for it ..they'd even give you free baby stuff/supplies(if you can be qualify for it)
Oh how come you can't be qualified? and oh I just remembered, there's this thing they called sectionA and section8 or something ..I'm not sure about it though but i tried googling it and I think it can help you financially for now.
