Preterm labor has many reasons, but a lot of them are really unknown! Feeling stressed and crying usually won't do any physical harm to your baby, but they can feel your stress and your sadness, and it can cause issues and stress them out...it's best if you do your best to stay calm for your baby, but I realize how hard that is when life's got you down for whatever reason....my suggestion, is if keeping the thought of staying strong and calm for your baby doesn't seem to help, speak to your doctor about how you feel...they can get to support, therapy, and even medications in extreme cases. Your mental and physical health is VERY important, and not just because of baby! You need to take care of YOU in order to take care of your baby.
