Don't stop nursing her!! That's the best thing you can do for her right now. Regardless take your baby to the doctor and give her pedialite as well.

breast milk is the best thing for baby, especially when sick. it actually changes to for a babies needs even when sick.. the only reason I would do pedialyte is if she was refusing breast.. when in doubt ask the doc, but that is what our pediatrician told us and is my opinion 😊👍❤ hope baby feels better soon.. @hellosweetie

Do not reduce her breast milk! Her saliva actually tells your body to up the antibodies that will help her to get better! If you are concerned that she is getting dehydrated you can give her a few sips of water in between feedings. Or maybe if you get the ok, give her the pedialyte in between feedings. But do not reduce the amount of breastmilk. That is one of the biggest benefits of breastfeeding.

Breastmilk is the best thing you can give her. Your body is going to adjust to what she needs. If anything, nurse her more.

That's what I was thinking! I've been letting her linger on booby as much as I can today, she threw up a lot 4 times but from what I've read, they absorb it pretty fast so as long as it was in there for a while before it was thrown up, they'll get plenty of good from it still even though it looks like they're not getting anything...I am a bit worried cuz she's only given me 4 pees so far today, but we'll see how she does tomorrow, if it doesn't improve we'll figure out where to take her...@queeneden,

I pray she feels better soon. I hate it when they're sick. The wet diapers are very important to pay attention to. Less than 6 in 24 hours is a cause for concern, I believe. I'm not 100% sure on the number.

Thank you, you are right less than 6 is usually a cause for concern however....and I literally just read up on this lol....as long as there are 2 or more pees in a 24 hour period, it's not considered to be dehydration....there are also ither signs but at least she is peeing more than that!
