ladies when can you start feeding your newborn water he's only a week old

not for a good while. some woman just went to prison for giving her baby water which caused his brain to swell and he passed. they don't need water especially if u are breastfeeding.

Ask his/her pediatrician. It's not recommend to give them water early.

newborns don't need water or anything other than formula or breastmilk for at least 6 months

I was told not until after the first 6 months.

babies aren't suppose to have just water until 6 months old
