I haven't been on here in soooo long. My baby is now 5 months old and huge. I still can't believe I have birth to this little man at home 5 months ago!

So I forgot to post my home birth experience so here it is, most of it anyways.
OK so, I went into labor with my water breaking at 9:37 p.m. My labor lasted for 4 hours (2 hours longer than Zarys) and was very different from her labor in so many ways. The first 2 hours were a breeze, I sat in the pool to help ease the few contractions I was getting while i video chatted with my sisters (who both fell asleep on me while we were video chatting). Setting up Zye's seat and reality just set in. I will be giving birth to my little man in like 2 weeks AT HOME! I'm super excited, super tired, super groggy and a little bit of anxious. I'm going to use this weekend to finish cleaning and setting up and then next week will consist of getting rest and spending time with my baby girl before she's no longer the only child 😢

Explaining to my husband what everything in my birthing kit is and what to do in case of an emergency and I'm unresponsive. We're getting so close, I cannot wait!

I'm definitely getting in that irritable stage of pregnancy. I remember it oh too well from my daughter, only problem is now I have a clingy one yr old that is about to drive me up a wall. I don't even want to hear anyone talk, let alone call my name a million times or climb all over me non stop!

I'm still trying to fathom having to bite into my placenta if I bleed too much postpartum. I'm such a natural mom but that is one thing I'm just not game to yet lol
