Having so much trouble breastfeeding after leaving the hospital π€ I have a cracked/bleeding nipple and it looks like the other one is getting thereπ’ I've looked up videos on how to properly breastfeed and I honestly think my breasts are just too big for her. Any advice?
Thanks girls! I did go to a lactation consultant today and they helped me out and if it still hurts I'll get some nipple shields but for now everything seems better c: @aightgoddess @bluerose351 @kindtrahan @luuuuuucyyy @natheena91 @queeneden @thehoneybunny @verobaby @wiccanmommy
Large breast shouldn't be a problem...are your breast on the softer side? My lactation consultant advised holding the breast an inch or so behind the nipple to form a better shape for baby to latch on to for those with larger breast. Tbh when it comes to breastfeeding I wish I had smaller boobs, I feel like it would make thing so much easier! :(
If you have wic they offer free lactation consultants, the same thing happened to me and I ended up being taught how to use a shield and only rarely have problems with him latching
