Stressing stressing stressing. Rant.

Husbands primary job changed shifts for 6 months so he works 3pm-11pm. Then he works his second job which pays child support for one of his kids from 7am-1pm.

I work 8am-4pm (in a temp dept until I have my baby. When I go back to work it's 50/50 on if they'll send me back to my original dept or keep me where I am)

I was going to get a part time job on top of my full time job after I have the baby but his jobs pay more so if he quits his part time for me to get one, it'll do us more harm than good.

I was going to have my mom watch my baby while my husband works his mornings shifts but she barely ever keeps her house clean and has 7 animals. I just can't. And then I don't know how my husbands supposed to help with the baby if he's never going to be home 😩

Then I have college (online) and I'm stressing about having a newborn and being able to keep up with it and everyone I ask just says "you just do it. You'll be fine." Granted those who say it have already have kids and aren't going to college.

Somethings gotta give.

@evococa, I'm the opposite I need to be left alone to do my work and out of a classroom! I definitely don't expect anything to be easy I just hate not knowing I can successfully do something. But y'all have definitely helped me see it's not impossible.

Definitely sounds stressful. But I waited till my son was older to do college online and it was a pain in the butt. Mind you, I found out the hard way that I def need to be IN the classroom to succeed, so that might have played a part. But what I meant to say is I wish I had started right after he was born. They sleep so much as newborns it makes it easier. I'd waited till he was learning to walk and awake all the time 😵 mistakes. Lol. Don't doubt yourself <3 that's the first step to failure. You can do it (: it will just be hard. Nothing worth having / doing is easy though.

@orphanpuppy, its def. possible! I was a single mom and didnt even have help I now have a B.S. degree. My glasses were 11 weeks long and I always had 3 or 4 classes at a time. Jumping ahead will certainly help!

@myworld94, one is 6 and the other is 8. We are trying to take the mother of the 6 year old to court over visitation issues (to top everything else off😥)

How old are his other children? I'm only asking because my husband has 2 other kids as well and he's paying 800 a month just for them but since they're older he can get that reduced in court because we have a 1 year old and this baby on the way. And the judge will see that and they can work something out because they can't leave our babies starving to give everything to the other children if that makes sense. Maybe you guys can look into that? @orphanpuppy

@xoxo512070, I was thinking of trying to jump ahead and do things that way. At least I know it's possible. I just have to get on it and stick to it.

@breannab, the workload isn't horrible I just get tired and frustrated easily 😅 if I stay on top of it I should be ok. I'm just worried of letting it all slip once the baby comes

@myworld94, we can't make it on just his income. He has two other kids he pays child support for that totals to $650 a month. I had tried direct sales as another income but couldn't get it up and going.

I'll be working for HSN! Jesus 5 weeks!? That's not bad work load though, a paper a week. Yea I'm always afraid of failure but I just stay as focused as possible!

@breannab, what do you do for work from home? My classes are 5 weeks long. Usually a discussion board and a 4-5page paper every week. I'm trying to have faith in myself but I'm afraid of screwing everything up

I used to do online classes and work full time with my first, you really do learn how to juggle things. Like I used to write down the assignments and get them done anywhere anytime I could, at the park, friends house etc. newborns sleep a lot as well. Also when I had my son in daycare I would keep him there an extra hour or 2 after work just to get homework done! There is always ways to squeeze it in, just gotta figure out what works best

If I were you I would put school on hold for a while and not even consider getting a part time job. Or just stick to school and don't work at all so you can be a stay at home mommy but still have your online courses. But idk if you guys will be able to do it with just your SO income. Some sacrifices just have to be made for your child. You can't do it all. When I got pregnant with my 1st born I worked up until I was almost due then I quit and went back to school after he was born. Time flew by now I'm about to graduate and have another baby. I plan to sticking to online courses and find a part time job. The only problem is idk who will take care of my babies, I don't trust them with anyone! Hope I helped some what :) and good luck.

I'll be working from home full time and going to school online full time with a newborn and the classes I'm taking are only 8 week courses so just imagine how stressful the classes alone are! I'm going to be stressed but I have faith I can do it! I have faith you can do it too! Our babies with be our motivation to push through if anything!!
