I'm slightly annoyed. my due date is Monday and ppl keep telling me I need to induce in some manner. my baby and I are both in perfect health. wtf is the point of rushing him out? like stfu and leave me alone. he'll come when he's ready

when you induce you may be in labor for days. Some people only a few hours, but it all depends. They use lost of drugs to induce you for one and if natural is what you want you may not like inducing unless you have to for the babies health.
well the longest birth on record is about a year and I think a month. ...... @jojo411, lolz something to cheer you up. so take your time the baby will come one way or the other.
@miicat, thank you :) my husband says the same thing. it's mainly my mom. like why rush? it's so frustrating. she wants me to get a vaginal exam but my midwife said that it can cause infection, early delivery and hurts. she doesn't want to do it unless she needs to like if I'm late. I agree with her. I wanna be as natural as I can be.
Go with your gut you know your body and baby best and I know it can be irritating, but everyone is just trying to help from their own perspective so there's no need to take it personally. You go and do your thing I believe in you 😊
@sperdue22, s is right. I was induced at 41 wks and in labor 26 hrs and had to have a csection bc my body wasn't 'responding well' to the inducing drugs they were giving me. I wouldn't dilated quick enough for them I suppose. I'm js from my experience I won't be induced again. lol
