My son is 3months old and when he lays down he tries to pick his head up is he supposed to be doing this at 3months? He cries cause he can't get up

My boy does this too. I have found he prefers sitting in his bouncer instead of laying down so he can see everything!

My daughter does that. she started around 3 months too I think. she still does it especially when reaching for something.
