Anyone else have a mom who says that breastfeeding past one is unnecessary and continues to make a joke that soon he will be grabbing for boob. Uh, last time I checked, my 7 month old already grabs for boob and I am pretty sure cow's milk isn't as healthy as mine so keep your opinion(she has shared many times) to yourself. She knows I'm not going to end breastfeeding right at 1 yet she continues to say things. It is annoying when you know they don't know as much as you about the benefits of breastfeeding and she's old school and thinks he will remember sucking on my boob. Bitch please. End rant lol. 👍🏻

I am not going to end breast feeding right at 1 either. But in your opinion when is a good time to stop or start weening them off of it? I've been thinking about it a lot and I just don't know

my little sister was breastfed until she was 3. she is now 20 & i am 25. i do not have memories nor does my sister of her being breatfed. the whole they will remember & mess with their mind bullshit is exactly that! do what you think is best for your child. no one knows better than you. good luck!

I feel I want to start weening no later than a year and a half. I want to do it slowly, not cold turkey. So before and at 2 years we are done. But he may self ween before. That is good to. :) @hkatedavis

My mom is side eyeing me for anything past 6 months. I told her the Dr said two years, she hushed up.

my mom says once my baby bites I'll stop...but really I want to breast feed until he stops...I would ideally like until 3 I've heard that the benefits are so great.
