Going to try breast feeding , hopefully i can get through it. i know i can pump once i go back to work, just worried about the pain ,and soreness of the nipples .i already had sensitive breasts (before pregnancy)
See if you have any breastfeeding support groups by you... It has helped me so much! Also, I used the honest co nipple balm and found it worked so much better than the stuff they give you at the hospital. The most important advice I can give is that even though it's really demanding, for the first 2 weeks or so everytime your baby fusses nurse, even if baby isn't hungry.. This essentially means no pacifier... This way your nipples blister over quicker and your milk will come in faster. I won't lied, I had a few days where I teared up from the pain but it was always just the first few seconds, once baby got going it would be okay but the initial latch was a killer for about a week.. I'm EBF 5 months strong now! I'm so in love with it I don't think he will ever have a bottle lol... My goal was to make it 3 months now im shooting for a year. Also, if you have time, watch the movie Breastmilk on Netflix. It shows the struggles of breastfeeding and I found it so motivational when I was pregnant. Good luck! 🍀
