My husband and I finally decided on our baby boys full name

Kade Jacob Jackson-Lunsford

We're hyphenating his last name since my father-in-law is a Jackson and my husband was born a Jackson but his mother absolutely hated my father-in-law so she gave him her married name (the same name of her ex-husband and 3 older children)

My son will be the last one who can carry on the Jackson last name. So we're allowing him to choose which he'd prefer when he's able to decide for himself.

Okay. So i just have a question for all you moms out there. ive called several places and I have gotten no answers. my child's father wants to change my daughters last name to his last name. I am now married and my daughter has my maiden name. if i let him chnage her last name to his will that give him more rights or leverage? i just dont wanna go through with it and then end up regreting it if he gets power over me. he pays child support but there is no visitation established. he only sees her on the weekends. ? #myfirstpost

*VENT/Is there anything I can do? So my daughter has her biological Father's last name (He's somewhat active in her life. She knows him though and calls him daddy) she also calls my boyfriend daddy (her choice). So my daughter recently told me that she wants to change her last name to my boyfriend's last name. 😳 (this was shock to me because my last name isn't even his). She seemed serious. She knows that the baby's last name will be his last name and I think that's why. But she has a new baby brother from her father too. So idk. She says stuff like "We're the (boyfriend's last name) family" I don't like ignoring what my daughter says because although she's 5, she's really smart and knows how she feels. But it's like I can't do anything? 🤦🏽 ♀
