Yeah I would just politely let her know that you are just not going to need her. That you can't be worried about getting in touch with her. You don't need that stress!! This is suppose to be a fun time!!

I wouldn't even tell her ... Truthfully my friend never even cared she didn't get to stand up or get an Invite .. We still talk but oh well she was replaced lol

Nope ... I had a best friend from hs suppose to stand up for me and she kept doing the same so I replaced her

it's hard to get in touch with her. me and my fiance will message her multiple ways and she'll read the message but never reply. I'm at the point where I don't want nothing else to do with her. @paiechols

I kicked one of my brides maids out of my wedding. She never showed up, could never get in touch with her... Whatever makes the day less stressful for you! I didn't want to have to worry about a bridesmaid not showing up to the actual wedding.

I'd ask someone in your wedding party to see if they want to be the maid/matron of honor

well if that's the case then yeah demote her to a bridesmaid or tell her she's not in the wedding and make someone else who has been helpful and a good friend your maid/matron of honor

that's what I'm gonna do @scc2413 the only bad thing is, is now I have to find another female to use because I hardly have any friends where I live

she's hanging out with people that she used to talk about. I just feel like she doesn't even care no more. we used to talk every day. I decided to stop texting her first to see if she would make the effort to talk and she never did. I feel like she was just using me. @armywife72515

There's no reason to spare your feelings to make someone else happy on your big day. If she's not holding her end up that's her problem not yours to deal with. I'd talk to her or just tell her she isn't the maid of honor anymore, if she gets mad, again that's her problem.

I would. if she's not being a good friend when ya need her help then I'd just make her a bridesmaid and make someone else the maid/matron of honor
