I gained alot of weight after I gave birth to my first child. So I was excited to start my gym membership. well I'm pregnant again and I really want to use my membership that I have. but they say don't do anything you didn't do before you got pregnant.
is it okay to go like ride the elliptical and walk on a tread mill??
I just want to know what other pregnant moms would do...
I was in a similar boat. doctor told me to stick with brisk walking on the tred, some light biking, and in time you can start lifting very light weights or do body weight workouts. nothing that strains you or anything well over what you were doing before the pregnancy. but definitely keep yourself active
there are women that run marathons at 7 and 8 months pregnant. .. you're fine unless you're high risk.
those two should be no problem. mainly what they worry about is people doing harder things that they didn't do before. I was a runner previously to getting pregnant, but I wasn't an avid runner so I didn't continue with it during pregnancy.
You will be ok just keep it low impact if you weren't active before. Walking & elliptical are great
