Why ? I didn't sign up, the hospital did, when I had my son they automatically signed him up without me knowing, I found out when I got the insurance card

Yea they let you sign up for up to a month after your baby is born and then you can't. Since he had insurance when he was born through his father I never signed up. But now we're fucked :( @flower_princess

Medicaid should let you sign up anytime it's through the state not government

they won't deny a baby. that's illegal in all 50 states. you're in VA, especially a commonwealth will never deny coverage to am infant. you need to go physically to the human resources office & set it up.. it's what I did when I lived in VA.

I think I'm more stressed out because my SO kept telling me to push Phillips doctors appts back and I didn't know why. Now I know that he doesn't have insurance and he paid $500 out of pocket last appt to get the shots he needed. And I had no idea :/ @gypsy.soul2 @jadestarlight @flower_princess
