so called into work last night, first time for everything. I was swelled so bad and knew my body needed rest. well, they appeared butthurt that I did, even though being pregnant and a cardiac patient, still working at 26 weeks is a huge accomplishment for me. So how does everyone else deal with similar situations? I called Dr, he still thinks I need to take my medical leave but I'm just not ready mentally or financially. BTW, I'm am LPN, and almost always work more than 40 hours a week!
@jessybox1997, yes. I swelled really bad over the weekend. low blood pressure, high heart rate. Dr says I need to be off of my feet, just no where near ready to be off that long
okay I take my classes for CNA in July but I wanted to get some experience in the field first
@taiboos_mommy16, it took me a year. if you are already a CNA, I encourage you to go for it!
completely off topic but how long did it take you to get your LPN because I'm going for CNA classes so I can work right away but i want to build up to go back to school for LPN
@mommagotbump16, I was diagnosed with an aortic ascending aneurysm right before finding out I was pregnant. I also have lupus, which resulted in bedrest with my first child at 16 weeks. 26 weeks, I felt I was doing great! shows they only care about themselves, really upsetting
healthcare are particularly jerks about when you can't come to work in my experience. I just tell them and don't feel guilty I had the flu at work with the elderly!!!! and they had a hissy fit about me having a doctors note to stay home. then forced me to pick up extra shifts to make it up.
Shame on them!! Sorry hon. I worked until 39 weeks, no health problems but migraines, but I was damn near in tears asking my boss to take leave a week early. Just don't let yourself get that far is my best advice!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
@boxbaby0716, omg be careful hon! I'm guessing it's not too large yet for them not to have restricted lifting or anything?
