I was pushing for an hour xx

@mummyraven2016 I was having irregular contractions for 18+ hours on no pain relief. I didn't have any pain relief until I had gotten to 8cms..that was just gas and air :) I wasn't allowed to push on it.. I was contracting every few minutes when it came to pushing...also I had pain between the contractions. The most uncomfortable part about it...was feeling like I needed to poop when I was pushing 😂I kept asking the midwives if I was! They were surprised that I was so silent :) they actually had to check if I was in labour or not :) The sweep I had was worse than labour! by far! I would go through labour again any day! If I have a second baby...I deffo don't want a sweep. I was only 39+1 when given the sweep because my waters had broken...and I was at risk of infection..so I was booked for an induction the next day. They was a waiting time to be induced...so the doctors all hoped that we would go into labour naturally which I did. After the sweep at 1cm...I went to 8cms in no time :) I ended up having to go to Theatre for a forcep delivery...because a doctor came into check on me..and he discovered my girls head was in am awkward position in the pelvis...and it meant that her head wasn't going to budge without intervention :) So I had a spinal block and all the pain went and I was numb waist down... couldn't feel myself pushing :) I wouldn't worry about it at all xx I know a few people that have had back to back labours and births..my friend from college had a breech birth :) xx

my little one was back to back but he's on my right side now but my bump always used to disappear when I was lying down and still does now just not as much, don't panic @mummyraven2016 xx

@winterbaby95, but doesn't it make Labour harder or more painful xx I know I sound completely clueless
