So my doctor is very hard to understand, and I'm 26 weeks today and she told me I was 1 cm dilated. My question is, does anyone know if I can still carry full term or if it's inevitable that Victoria will come early. I've already been told I probably won't make it past 35 weeks, but does this mean sooner now?

@s_r_z_15, thanks! I'll be going back to El Paso hopefully soon, I was in Indiana while my husband was deployed, so I think it may be less stressful not to have to deal with Tricare, our insurance company haha biggest pain the butt!
@mariahn, I was dilated 1 cm the last 3 or so months of my pregnancy. Had no issues from it and carried 2 days past term. I'd say go to someone you can understand better, though
I've had friends that sat at 1 or 2cm for months
@luvmyboldens, I had to go to L&D and that was the doctor that told me, and then I had to have a follow up with my doctor and didn't get much info from her. I just moved here and it was impossible trying to get a doctor in the first place haha so I don't think I can find another doctor easily. I was just curious to see if anyone may have any info, I have a doctors appointment every week from now on. Hopefully I'll learn more
I would think your little too early to already be starting to dilate I would Def go to someone I can understand better
I was dilated to 3 from 7 months up until they induced me at 39 weeks, it doesn't always mean the baby will come early but they made me take it easier the last months of the pregnancy.
