it depends on if your cervix had dilated at all, if you bled, and also if you are completely healed...you can do a lot of damage to your stitches! You could always call your doctor and ask them what their take on it is, I don't know much about c sections 😜

I agree with the majority here, they ask you to wait until your appointment not only to make sure your (possible) stitches have healed, but also because your cervix takes time to close back up again, you bleed because your body is expelling all that stuff from your uterus, cleaning it out and shrinking it down to the original size, once the bleeding stops it does not necessarily mean your cervix is completely closed, therefore if you were to introduce anything inside the vagina like a tampon, condom or a penis, bacteria can enter through your cervix and cause infection that can be life threatening inside of your uterus. It sucks, but honestly it's best to be safe than sorry, you don't wanna risk it!

I was told 4 weeks but I'm waiting till my appt since I'm tieing my tubes so there will be no accidents here.. Some people don't wait since they say they feel fine I think it depends on how ur delivery went and of u riped and stuff like that

Wait till you get the okay from your doctor. You could get an infection. Plus your body needs time to heal
